Converts 24V to 12V power
output so that scan tool originally designed for car (but has the extended capability to test other
vehicle) can be used to diagnose truck.
OSB is built with voltage monitoring feature with alarm warning when the voltage falls below 11.8V or 23.8 (one beep successively) or higher than 15.2V or 29.2V (beep twice continuously).
2. Switch Pin Connection
Note: The 16 pass-thru connections between OBD M to OBD F breakout are normally open.
2a. Connect the 16 pass-thru connection
The 16 pins of Male OBD connector are
connected to all 16 banana sockets on the LEFT breakout, same as the 16 pins of Female
OBD connector are connected to 16 banana sockets of the RIGHT breakout.
And all the 4mm banana socket of both
breakout (LEFT & RIGHT) are interconnected.
2b. Disconnect the 16
the switch OFF to disconnect the 16 pass-thru connections.
2c. Pin to pin connection Use the jumper cable for direct pin to pin or stacking connection while scanning or performing special functions and tests. Use the blink Code Cable - N/O (Normally Open) contact switch cable for Reset, Adaptation or codes activation. The set comes with 16 pcs. Stacking Banana cable as standard supply.
3. Switch Connectors Any cable with standard 4mm banana can be plugged to the 16 sockets of both breakout tailor to your diagnosis requirement.
4. Switch testing tools OSB detects OBD2 protocol being used on vehicle whether PWM (J1850),VPW (J1850), ISO 9141-2, DIS/ISO 14230-4 or Canbus (J-2284) and monitor data stream when connected with the scan tool to the car OBDll ports. Other than that, you can plug any tester such as lab scopes, multimeter, logic probes, test lights etc. that uses a standard 4mm banana plugs to the 16 pins sockets for reading voltage, resistance, frequency, pulse width or duty cycle.
